Diversity and inclusion are lacking in the veterinary industry, and change needs to come from within the field.

Created to encourage conversation and shared learning amongst veterinary clinics, the atDove Award recognizes clinics that are actively working to create inclusive and equitable spaces.

Learning and acting together for an inclusive community.

Our clinic is focused on building a more welcoming space for all veterinary professionals, but we want to hear from (and learn with) your team.

Tell us what your team is doing to advance your community’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. 12* clinics will receive an annual atdove.org subscription to create a platform for sharing the industry’s efforts, milestones, and more.

How does the

atDove Award work?

1. Clinics will complete a short application detailing their goals towards a more inclusive, equitable community. Some will be just starting, and others will be years into their journey.

2. A set of eligibility requirements (see below) will help DoveLewis’ Equity Champion team select 12* clinics to receive an atdove.org subscription for a year.

3. Selected clinics will share their efforts throughout the year, so we can amplify voices and spark ideas as we all work together for a better future.

*If more than 12 clinics apply, clinics will be ranked by submission date.

Does an atdove.org subscription offer DEI expertise and solutions? We’re learning too!

We’re confident in our medical expertise, but as an organization in the Pacific Northwest, we know we have knowledge gaps and shortcomings. We at DoveLewis will use atdove.org to share our goals and efforts as we move through our process, and we are asking our award recipients to do the same. So we can’t promise a simple tutorial video to hold the answers, but we can promise a conversation.
